Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie (born 27 May 1990),[2] better known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Ebute Metta community of Lagos, he grew up sharing one room with his parents and five siblings. His modest upbringing and close relationship with his family instilled a drive and determination to create a better future, and led him to music, he signed a record deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing “Up in D Club” under the outfit, Patoranking became a protégé of Dem Mama Records after collaborating with Timaya on his song “Alubarika.

Early Life
Patoranking, real name – Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, he was born on May 27, 1990. Patoranking is 33 years old as of 2023, pator was born and raised in Ebute metta Lagos where his family formerly reside, he was born into a family of five.
Education
Patrick had his secondary education at Citizen Comprehensive College in Epe, Lagos, and later at Jibril Martin Memorial Grammar School in Iponri, Lagos.
Patoranking then relocated to Ghana in 2007 to further his education at Cape Coast University. He dropped out after he could not meet up with the financial demands to continue his education.
Career
In the early stages of his musical career, Patoranking started by collaborating informally with artists like XProject, Konga, Slam, and Reggie Rockstone. He signed a record deal in 2010 with K- Solo’s Igberaga Records, using their imprint to release “Up in D Club.” Patoranking was accepted as a protégé by Dem Mama Records due to their collaboration on Timaya’s song “Alubarika.” After signing a record deal with Foston Musik in February 2014, he released the hit song “Girlie O,” which helped him become well-known. In 2012, Patoranking dropped the song “Iya Bisi,” which features Qdot and Kbaj. Dancehall and fuji are combined in the piece. He has also worked with artists from the Nigerian music industry, including Timaya and Wizkid.
He started his music career doing underground collaborations, with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam In February 2014, he signed a record deal with Foston Musik and released “Girlie O”, a single that put him in the limelight, on 9 February 2015, Patoranking announced on Instagram that he signed a distribution deal with VP Records.
On September 28 Patoranking released a song titled Abule which he released ahead of his album scheduled to be released later in 2020. He once said, in 2020 that he once got inspiration for song on a football pitch while playing.

Patoranking is married to his longtime girlfriend, Leila Okorie and the marriage is blessed with two daughter named welda and Wilmer Okorie.
