Ikuforiji Olaitan Abduirahman is Nigerian musician,
songwriter known by his stage name oxlade
he rose into the Nigerian music scene after
he dropped the hit track away.
Born on 22, April, 1997, he grew up in Surulere in Lagos, he lost is mum in earn age, his father was a lecturer in university of Lagos where Oxlade also got admission, the talented singer is a yoruba decent he started his music career in early age as a junior choir leader in the church, he dropped out of university to pursue music and his breakthrough came when “blaqbonez, listen to one of his song and wanted to work with he.
EARLY LIFE
Oxlade hails from the south west region of Nigerian, a Yoruba tribe, he was born on the 22nd of April 1997 into the family of Mr and Mrs Abdulrahman. a Muslim home he lived with his parent in his early childhood years not until he lost his mum. Oxlade love for music started when he was still in primary school as a little boy, he is always singing in classroom this talent grew to a level when he started feeling as a superstar.
He recorded his first song “Demo, and from that moment he started to pursue music Wande coal was one of the arts that motivate him.
EDUCATION
Oxlade enrolled in a private school for both his primary and secondary school education, he had the opportunity do to the middle-class family background, his secondary education was completed in 2013,
he got admission to study history and international relations in Lagos state university, studied for two years then he leaves school to pursue music.
