Mohammed Ismail Sherif is an awards winning Ghanaian artist,
songwriter and a rapper, born on January 9, 2002, publicly
known as Black Sherif formerly Blacko, he became noticed
after the released of the song “First Sermon, in May, 2021, later
released the second sermon in July same year and this was his
first hits that gained him the attention of his audience.
Black sherif rose to the limelight in 2022 with the song “Kwaku The Traveler, which top number one in Ghanaian and Nigerian Apple Music chart and the video views over 17 millions, that same year October 5, he released his album ‘the villain I never was.

Early Life
He was conceived and born Mohammed Ismaili Sherif in Konongo Zongo, in the Ashanti region of Ghana his parents works mostly in overseas so growing up was with his aunt and other relatives, he was exposed to so many types of culture base on his movement from one place to another.
Education
Black Sherif attended Konongo Zongo Islamic basic school while his jounior high school was in Pinamang educational complex and Kumasi Academy where his passion for music initially started he later proceeded to university of professional studies but currently studying in university of Ghana before his breakthrough in 2022.
Career
Sherif career initially started in 2019 while still in university he released his single “Cry For Me, he followed it up with “Money, with the music video in 2019, while in 2021 he released the hit “First Sermon, the “Second Sermon, was released in same year but on July later featured Burna boy for the remix.
Black eventually became famous as of the moment he released the hit in 2022 “Kwaku The Traveler, which top number one in Ghana and Nigerian Apple Music chart, released the album “The Villain I Never Was.
