Innocent Ujah Idibia is one of the Nigerian famous
songwriter, singer, entrepreneur and a recording
producer born 18th September, 1957,
professionally known with his
stage name 2baba.
He is formerly known with the name 2face Idibia he is globally accepted as one of the greatest artist in Africa, his contribution in afrobeats music has be a continuous topic in Nigerian, his tremendous debut album face2face with the hit single Africa Queen is a love song that have not fade out since the year he released it in 2005, 2baba was the first musician who won the MTV EMA best Africa act in the history of Nigerian music industry and he is recorded as most awarded musician in Nigerian.
He was among in the collaboration on the awareness song fighting for the right of children in 2019 along side with Timi Dakolo l, Cohbam Asuquo.
2baba was born and rise in Jos but hails from Benue state, Idoma by tribe in southern part of benue
Personal Life
2baba is married to a Nigerian Nollywood actress, model and a movie producer Annie Idibia (Macaulay) they did their wedding on 2nd, May 2012, the couple gave birth to two girls “Olivia Idibia and Isabel Idibia.
Before he got married to his wife Annie Idibia 2baba had two children with Sumbo Ajala and three with Pero Adeniyi, he is a father of seven children.
Education
He did both his primary and secondary school in Makurdi Mount Siant Gabriel in benue then proceed to Enugu (IMT) institute of management and technology where he studied preliminary national diploma under business administration and management.
Career
2baba started his music career while still in school, consistently recording in order to developed a good vocal, he performed in different university in Enugu but eventually dropped out of school to pursue music later move to Lagos joined a group called plantashun boyz in this group he met black face his secondary school friend and faze that actually formed the trioband group. Plantashun boyz released album in 2000 titled “Body And Soul, and it was massive streamed all over Nigeria later on 2003 they dropped another album titled “Sold Out, under Dove records, own by Nelson brown.
They all later departed in 2004 and went their different ways as a solo artist, in 2007 2face and faze collaborate and work on the album “Plan B.

In 2006 2face dropped another album titled “Grass 2 Grace.
